Action,I enjoy your posts and respect your opinions.Wanted to know what makes you like Alabama so much.I am a big Bama fan and my biggest play is on Providence.
I do think Alabama will be better than expected.That being said,they are a horrendous road team with a lot of inexperienced players and players that are really role players being forced to carry more of a load.Winston is a talent,but he tries to do too much and is only shooting 34%.Pettway is also struggling with his shot.Shelton had a 10 minute outburst against SE Louisiana,but before that he was 1 of 10 from 3 range.He is too inconsistent for a starting shooting guard in the SEC.Freshman Jermareo Davidson is logging a lot of minutes in the post and he has potential.Chuck Davis is obviously a pleasant surprise,but I think Gomes will handle him.
Alamama's offense is easy to defend and even when Alabama gets open shots they miss.They are habitually one of the worst shooting teams in the SEC.They usually overcome this by playing good defense,but this year LATech and SE Louisiana both outscored Bama from the field-Bama won the game by getting to the line more.I can't see them getting the calls on the road.
Anyway,that is why I bet against Bama-just wanted to hear your insight.Good luck and keep up the good work.
